Theme of Holes

     I think the theme of Holes is that great stuff can happen if you put in the work. I think this because Stanley goes to court for something he didn’t do. So once he goes to camp green lake and meets zero. Later Stanley carries zero up the mountain and zero almost dies. The day the left the camp, Stanley’s lawyer comes to take him from camp green lake because he was innocent. Then he takes zero with his money to buy a mansion. Later they have a big party and Clyde Livingston’s commercial comes on.    

Buddies

     I like buddies because mine is awesome! My buddy likes that I play football. Also that we do cool stuff. We also like to hang out.Later in the year I hope we do cool stuff.

Jake's Story

I choose Jake's story because I think is was interesting with the step mom. She was flying around to help Jakes Dad, Jake and work at the same time. I think the moral of this story is to never be afraid to lend a helping hand.
